Zedify E-Van Delivery Driver

Zedify are recruiting for a delivery driver to join the team in Glasgow!

The Role

Zedify are looking for a new member of staff to be delivering packages with our zero emission delivery service, driving in urban areas. The job is physically demanding.

Essential criteria - staff must be:

• Dynamic and hardworking

• Happy to work in all weathers throughout the year

• Physically fit and strong to carry parcels

• Knowledgeable and respectful of the highway code and a conscientious driver

• Comfortable driving in busy traffic

• Prepared to work unsupervised for long periods of time and able to use own initiative

• Punctual, presentable, trustworthy and very reliable.

Essential criteria - staff must have:

• Good knowledge of the city and main business areas

• Good communication, with a friendly manner

• A positive attitude

• A genuine desire to help make our cities better places to be

Hours of work

This job will require early starts (7.30am)

The hours are variable. Zedify cannot guarantee levels of work and drivers are paid and employed on an hourly rate. This position is based on the current contract work we have and the necessity to respond to new contracts. We are happy to look at working around your needs, if for example you only want to work certain days at certain times or you want to work full time.

Health

You will need to be physically fit as the job includes:

• Heavy lifting and handling

• Managing multiple flights of stairs

• Being able to read addresses

• Being able to communicate effectively over a phone (speaking and hearing)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 - 30 per week

Salary: £10.90 per hour
