We are now looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis working nights. The shift pattern for this role will be between 8pm and 10am.

The Role

As the Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the effective operation of our Erith warehouse during the night shift, ensuring the safe handling of all goods and helping customers receive excellent service.

You will implement effective handling procedures and providing staff training on the correct use of Manual Handling Equipment.

Providing expert leadership to the Warehouse Team, you will create an environment of communication and positive discussion, supporting line managers to oversee staff performance, monitor absences and manage disciplinary procedures.

A major focus of your role will be to ensure a safe working environment. As such, you will support H&S efforts, monitoring workplace safety, revieing processes and providing training where required.

About You

• A proven operations management background in third-party logistics
• Previous supervisory experience
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and email

Ideally, you will have an MHE licence. A full counterbalance forklift truck licence would also be beneficial.
