We are currently looking for a Team member in our Derby site.

Shift: Monday – Friday 07:00am – 15:00pm / 14:00pm – 22:00pm
Salary: £10.06 per hour (+£2 an hour night rate allowance)

Job Description:

• Receiving, picking, put away, replenishment and dispatch. Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
• Process inbound and outbound goods on customer’s system, full training to be given and monitored during probationary period
• Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
• Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
• Ensure all company procedures are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity.
• Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Good level of general education, including good understanding of both written and verbal English
• Literate and numerate
• Previous warehouse experience is an advantage.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
• FLT Licence desirable but not required
• Ability to work as part of a team, withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines
