Data Analyst

What is the role

This is a new role in an expanding data and analytics function within the marketing team. Data is at the heart of everything we do at Yours Clothing and with the expansion of our menswear brand, BadRhino, and the acquisition of Long Tall Sally, The introduction of PixieGirl and the latest addition of M&Co, data is in more demand that ever. We are looking for an individual with an enquiring mind who is keen to build on their career in digital analytics. In this commercially focused role, you will need to report on and analyse sales information and website metrics across many websites and marketing channels for all brands. You will be supported to explore and learn many different tools such as Google Analytics 360, SQL query writing and Tableau.

What you will do

• Creation and upkeep of regular reports to monitor sales performance & marketing activity across the different marketing channels
• Using visualisation software (Tableau) to produce dashboards that enhance understanding of marketing activity across the business
• Troubleshooting data discrepancies and supporting the Data and Insights Manager to implement solutions
• Regular and Ad-hoc projects requiring creative approaches to answering data-based queries

What you will bring

• Experience using Excel to manipulate and present data
• Understanding of ecommerce and what data would be important to a retail business
• Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset – keen to learn how to gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe all the facts and consider other perspectives
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Good time management skills to deliver in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of either GA, Tableau or SQL would be desirable but not essential
• Highly motivated and a desire to be the best
• Eager to learn and develop
• Proven ability to work well within a team and to use own initiative
• Self-starter with the ability to find answers themselves
• An energy and enthusiasm to succeed
• Ability to adapt to frequent change and a fast-paced environment
