Job Summary:

This role is part of the Systems Engineering Department based in the Nottingham Office. Applicants should be competent with both 2D and 3D CAD packages, specifically AutoCAD and Creo.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Detail design and production of CAD drawings for Xylem product range.
• Design drafting requirements for applications within the water industry both at proposal and contract stage.
• Design drawing work for projects
• Assisting the senior draughtsman with the running of the drawing department
• Production of manufacturing drawings
• Preparation of drawings and design sketches for tendering purposes.
• To liaise closely with other Systems Engineering team members to support internal and external Sales Engineers
• To support Field sales and installation Engineers when scoping installation works.
• Production of As Built drawings upon contract completions
• To document and record all work in line with company procedures

Full CAD ability and a mechanical engineering knowledge from working within a similar position is required

Experience of working on pump station design and associated water industry applications would also be desirable.
