The ideal candidate for this position should have experience working in an aged care establishment and possess a Certificate III in Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification from overseas) or higher. Candidates should demonstrate compassion and empathy towards the elderly and have the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Being proactive, organised, and efficient in managing time in important. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to confidently manage unexpected or emergency situations is critical. A positive and friendly personality, along with a genuine and demonstrated passion for assisting residents to maintain their quality of life is vital.
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care (or higher) or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Work experience in aged care or disability care (desirable)
- Genuine empathy and compassion towards the elderly
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- Good English communication skills
- A clean police record
- COVID and flu vaccinations
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
