Salary: £32,500 per annum (including shift allowance)
Shift – Monday – Friday, 10 hours per day between 05:00 – 20:00 rotating weekly.
Weekend coverage required on a rotational basis (paid as overtime)
Position Summary
Due to continued growth, World Courier is recruiting for Drivers for urgent pharmaceutical logistics, to join our busy Transport team, based in our Feltham Office.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pick up and deliver goods as requested throughout the UK
  • Ensure required paperwork is completed by customer/consignee.
  • Use initiative and anticipate problems that may occur with deliveries.
  • Keep Dispatch Officer informed of progress of deliveries and any delays.
  • Drive safely and take care of company vehicles.
  • Make up boxes for shipments as required.
  • Monitor packaging materials and advise Operations Supervisor when stock is running low.
  • Work periodic weekends as rostered.
  • Maintain abundant stock of packaging materials and labels
What your background should look like
Candidate Requirements:
  • Current driver's license.
  • Good driving record.
  • Good knowledge of the UK road networks
  • Pleasant & proactive manner with customers.
  • Good knowledge of cold chain management and basic DG
  • Sense of urgency balanced by meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate problems that may occur with deliveries.
  • Initiative and common sense.
  • Reliable and accountable.
  • Customer focus, ability to deliver +1 service.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
What we offer:
Basic Salary: £31,000 per annum
Shift Allowance: £1,500 per annum
Annual Bonus Plan: 5% ABP
