Secure Logistics Agent - Driver

We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Secure Logistics Agent (Driver) at our client site based near Colnbrook. The main purpose of this role is to comply with Heathrow bulk deliveries standard of escorting and point of discharge monitoring at its delivery destination.

Main Duties:

• Escorting and screening of airport bulk supplies entering Critical Part of the Security Restricted Area (CPSRA)
• Investigate unusual conditions, report damage to perimeter fencing, buildings or other property which could compromise airport security
• Remain observant and vigilant to activity and follow correct escalation and internal reporting procedure
• Report all suspicious persons, packages or vehicles immediately to Airport Duty Manager
• Maintain a polite, courteous, and friendly manner towards the public, the client, and colleagues at all times
• Operate x-ray screening equipment and explosive trace detection equipment (ETD) in conjunction with bag, vehicle and airport supplies search procedure
• Maintain mandatory search regimes and ratios in relation to physical body search
• Carry out searches and subsequent sealing regimes on vehicles destined for CPSRA
• Exercise strict access control on airside/landside boundaries to ensure the integrity of the CPSRA and SRA
• Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager or the Customer

Essential Criteria:

• Full UK Driving Licence cat B
• 5 years checkable history
• Ability to pass CTC clearance

• Full time hours: 4on 4off shift pattern (6pm to 6am), 42hours per week, 12 hours per day.
