Creative Artworker
We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our Packaging team as a Creative Artworker in a role based at our Support Centre in Worksop and working remotely.
As our Creative Artworker, you’ll be responsible for the creation & delivery of artwork across the full portfolio of wilko product brands. Creating the packaging artwork across primary and secondary packaging ensuring these are in line with the creative guidelines as well as technical standards applying these to the cutter guides for packaging production.
Taking huge pride in what you do, your role will involve ensuring Packaging artwork is in line with the product and brand guidelines. Along with:
- The management of assets, maintaining and managing artworks & cutters/profiles
- Ensuring artwork is created and production ready.
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency and the timely completion of artwork.
- Effectively maintain workflow management using Opal, including cost control.
- Meeting quality standards at all times for assigned tasks and making recommendations for improvements to SOPs/guidance procedures etc.
- Translating macro trends into micro trends for packaging.
- Bringing standardisation to the artworks and marketing messages that the packaging provides to the customer.
For this role we need someone who has a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a creative artwork role, as well as being comfortable managing a large volume of SKU’s. You must be proficient using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator with the ability to present packaging to a variety of stakeholders with the aim of approval.
