Admin Assistant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and professional Admin Assistant to join our office team in Farningham to provide administrative support to the Commercial and Farm team. The ideal candidate will have previous administration experience and must be happy to work in a fast-paced environment. Due to the location of the role, access to your own transport would be required.

What does the job involve?

• Accurate data entry including inputting timesheets and updating information into the system
• Assisting with Inductions for seasonal new starters
• Collating and issuing reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Managing and updating invoices
• The answering of telephones, relaying messages and responding to enquiries.
• Greeting and signing in external visitors to the Farningham site
• Supporting the Procurement team with updating records
• General administration tasks to support the Procurement, Commercial and Farm team

• Accuracy, strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as supporting the team
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Determined and driven with a strong desire to achieve results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues
• Knowledge and aptitude to using and advancing Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work additional or flexible hours as and when required by the business
• Previous experience of the retail, wholesale, food service business, food manufacturing, and food hygiene would be an advantage

Working hours

Monday to Friday 08.00 until 17.30 plus one in four Saturdays 07.00 until 12:00.
