Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Apprentice

This vacancy involves all aspects of light maintenance and repair of vehicles. The successful candidate will learn about the various tasks involved with repairing and servicing vehicles. Some experience would be beneficial but a real passion for working with cars is a must.

What will the apprentice be doing?

Duties will include:

• Brakes
• Oil changes
• Tyres
• Exhausts
• General cleanliness and maintenance of workshop
• Any duties as required by your supervisor / manager
• Full servicing of vehicles
• Assisting mechanics with all tasks on Motor Vehicle Repair and Service
• Diagnostics

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

• Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence
• Functional skills in Maths and English if required
• 20% off the job training
• Before the Standard is met, all apprentices must hold a certificate that meets the EU’s 2014 F-gas regulation

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

• Possible employment with the company
• Progression routes to further industry training

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: From £6.00 per hour
