VR Escape Ltd, Hockley, is looking for you if you are……

Reliable, entertaining and confident in front of small groups of people. Interested in escape rooms and excited about virtual reality. Friendly, enthusiastic, intelligent, self motivated and conscientious.

You’ll be responsible for providing pre-game briefings, interacting with small groups, and holding attention. Perhaps you’ve got acting or performance experience along with time in customer service.

You’ll be able to look after clients and pay attention to their needs; able to read your audience and interact in an appropriate manner. Well presented, trustworthy, punctual, with good attention to detail and a logical approach to problem solving.

You’ll be comfortable with PCs and technology. You’ll be setting up networked VR headsets against the clock, and running the software that controls our games. Experience with and a love of virtual reality would be useful but not essential as would experience and a passion for escape rooms.

You’ll be over 18, based relatively close to our premises at SS55LT, and able to get yourself there. (There’s no local public transport.)

Other details: This is part time weekend work. We’re recruiting a small team to cover Friday evenings and all day Saturday & Sunday, plus occasional additional days for bank and school holidays. It’s a zero hours contract so the work available is dependent on bookings. Hourly rate is £10.50 per hour.
