Finance Analyst - Aftersales

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Finance Analyst - Aftersales to join our Finance department. The role is flexible with a mix of remote working, travel to our UK office in Reading (1 day per week) and occasional travel to other Volta Truck sites.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious scale-up where you will have the opportunity to partner with our Truck-as-a-Service (TaaS) function which is revolutionising the industry by providing customers with full end-to-end integrated solutions to help drive fleet electrification.

What you will do:

Reporting into the Finance Business Partner for Aftersales, you will work closely and in collaboration with the Real Estate team to support them in delivering our network of service centres within budget by managing the Capex and Opex of projects.

• Support the project teams with change orders and business cases for target service centre sites
• Controlling expenditure against Capex/Opex budgets on a project-by-project basis
• Work in tandem with Real Estate to manage expenditure against budgets
• Identify project risks and support in mitigating solutions
• Provide monthly reporting for the department and support with forecasting and budgeting exercises

We would like you to have:

• Accounting qualifications or part qualified – CIMA, ACCA, ACA required
• Proven ability to analyse complex data and present findings
• Ability to manage financial transactions, control project budgets and model financial data
• Previous experience within project finance – Real Estate experience desirable
