Senior Finance Analyst

About The Role

• Coordination and completion of all month-end tasks for the functions supported within the appropriate deadlines
• Maintain timely forecasting and support with annual budget cycle
• Build and maintain an excellent understanding of the responsible cost centres cost base in terms of transactional detail.
• Ensuring accuracy of Anaplan output while ensuring reconciliation to business partner expectations.
• Lead on ad-hoc analysis driven by own interpretation of key risk and opportunities within the functions supported.
• Produce standard consistent reporting in a timely manner for review.
• Ensure rigorous governance and accurate accounting principles are applied and followed throughout as well as actively seeking process efficiencies where appropriate.
• Respond and communicate with business stakeholders on routine finance queries.
• Support junior members of the team with day-to-day tasks and processes.
• Provide ad-hoc assistance to the Senior Finance Business Partner.

• Proven experience in expense or analyst roles within a Finance team.
• Ability to work constructively with finance stakeholders, providing them with support in processes and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience of managing multiple priorities to strict deadlines.
• A self-starter who works diligently with ambition to develop the role.

• Relevant or working towards an accounting qualification – CIMA, ACA, AAT or equivalent.
• Advanced user of Excel, Sage and Anaplan, with experience in data processing and analysis.
• Experience in analysing budgets and forecasts, specifically IT or Project related.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders.
