This is a unique opportunity to

Contribute in a meaningful way to research and development of new products and support for existing ones. You will work closely with the rest of the cross-functional team.

After training and a tailored learning programme when you join, your responsibilities will include:

• Short prototype runs and rework of electronic assemblies, cables etc., either personally or using external contractors.

• Production of equipment to support design engineers. This could be custom hardware or include bought-in building blocks like Arduino or Raspberry Pi. The ability to write the necessary test software is not essential but would be valued.

• Performing environmental and electrical tests of new designs to a test procedure.

• Administration and maintenance of tools and prototyping equipment.

• Participate in technology development, process improvement and general housekeeping efforts as a member of the team.

We are looking for a professional who has:

• Self-starting with a sense of urgency and who is motivated by achievement

• Hands-on assembly (soldering and crimping) and test work

• Problem solving capabilities with data driven analysis and conclusion.

• Ability to express technical matters adequately, both orally and in writing.

• Teamwork within multi-functional project teams.

• Agility to work concurrently on multiple project teams.

Your Education and/or Background Experience will include:

• Relevant level 3 qualification minimum in an Electrical Engineering discipline, or qualified by experience

• Good English, Maths and IT skills.
