Children’s Residential Support Worker / Wigan
Currently looking for those who want to develop within a support worker role, joining a 4 bedded service that provides support for children and young people with EBD and challenging behaviours.
Location: Wigan
Duties:
- Work in a residential care home for 4 young people with EBD and challenging behaviours
- Work within the staff team to ensure the service offers OFSTED standard support
- To deliver the best possible outcomes for the young people in your care, within a caring, homely environment.
- Support in the community and at the residential care home
- Promote relationships between staff, young people and the community
- Domestic chores around the home such as cooking and cleaning
Pay and Hours:
- Shifts: 2 sleeps followed by 4 shifts off
- Full time permanent position
- Salary - £26,000 to £28,000
Requirements:
- Some experience within childcare, residential childcare or personal experience!
- Drivers essential
- Friendly, personable and eager to learn!
