Position Overview & Specifications
We are currently on the lookout for two full-time Mixer Operators to join the team at a pet food manufacturing company. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining mixing equipment in our production facility.
Your working hours will be 40 hours per week, spread over four days from Monday to Thursday. Each day, you will work for 10 hours starting at 6 am.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Mixer Operator, your primary duties will include:
- Operating mixing equipment to blend ingredients based on specific formulas
- Monitoring and adjusting the blending process to ensure consistent product quality
- Performing regular maintenance on mixing equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues with the mixing equipment as required
- Keeping accurate records of production activities
Requirements:
Previous experience working with mixing equipment in a production environment is desirable. We also place great emphasis on other key qualities and skills, including:
- A strong work ethic and commitment to performing your duties with diligence and care
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- A willingness to learn and undergo full training to ensure your success in this role
