The role:
Working in a friendly, inclusive team and in a brand new, clean, and dynamic production environment, we are now recruiting for multi skilled Production Operatives to cover a range of inspection, pressing and parts assembly duties.

This role brings good opportunities for training and progression within the production department for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Assembly Manager, this is full-time position is 37.5 hours per week, however part time hours will be considered.

Vestatec is an innovative design and manufacturing company based in Colwick, specialising in ‘jewellery’ type interior parts for high end luxury car brands such as Volvo, Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini, and Rolls Royce.

Experience of working in a production environment desirable but not essential as full training will be provided

Duties:

• Inspection of jewellery type parts
• Light assembly of parts
• Packing of products for direct dispatch to the customer
• Operation of light hydraulic press, loading and unloading of parts
• Reporting to team leader of any defects found
• Unloading and packing coated parts
• Keep workplace clean and tidy with a high level of attention to detail at all times
• Ability to communicate with other members of staff
• Using a simple MRP system to log and record data
• Positive attitude to tasks given
• Hours of work to be flexible between 8am – 4pm depending on production requirements
• Overtime maybe required depending on seasonality

Salary: £20,300.00-£21,000.00 per year
