Hotel Housekeeping Staff

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT:

- FEW MONTHS OF HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE

- do not apply if you do not have the above experience.

- must be able to work at least 09:00-13:00 and every weekend.

Verve Hotel, a luxurious boutique hotel in Bedford seeks an efficient and reliable person to carry out housekeeping duties of maintaining the cleanliness of guest’s rooms in orderly manner.

Responsibilities:

· To assist with the housekeeping operation: changing bed sheets and towels, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing supplies, cleaning all surfaces in both rooms and public areas, helping out in other public areas as necessary.

· To ensure all Guest Needs are met to the required standard and promote a positive image of the business.

· To ensure any Guest request, outside the area of expertise, is raised immediately to the appropriate level

· To ensure all Guests, their belongings and colleagues are treated with respect at all times

· To liaise daily with Head Housekeeper and work within all company policies with specific reference to the Health and Safety at Work Act

Requirements:

· An ability to follow established procedures and systems

· A flexible approach and professional attitude to accommodate customer needs

· An ability to work independently

· Fluent English is a must, as is eligibility to work and live in the UK

· Previous experience in Housekeeping – a few months minimum.

· Require to work shift patterns which include weekends and bank holidays
