Position Overview & Specifications

Salary: £32,000 per annum plus bonus, access to a company van, and Veolia benefits

Hours: 40h per week, 8:00AM to 4.00PM, Monday to Friday

Location: Tidworth, but will require travel to our sites in the South region

What you'll be doing;

  • Working in and around MOD sites, working in high security areas with special access
  • Operation and maintenance of potable water network, water treatment works, storage reservoirs and water abstraction process.
  • Planning and implementation of leakage control activities.
  • Analysis of network data.
  • Identifying and responding to leaks and bursts
  • Monitoring potable water network for flow, pressure, leakage etc
  • Preparation of reports
  • Water Quality sampling
  • Potential member of out-of hours standby arrangements.

This role involves working outside in all weather and you must be able to respond to and resolve emergency situations.

What we're looking for;

  • Qualification/Experience in water network and or treatment operation or a wealth of experience within clean water operations environment
  • Thorough working knowledge of leakage identification and control
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory aspects within the water industry, particularly in relation to water quality.
  • Valve/network control and isolation operations.
  • Leakage management experience
  • Water quality sampling experience
  • Water regulations inspector (certified)
  • Accredited Risk Assessor
  • Water hygiene (EUSR)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.

This position is suited to an individual that is looking to develop their Technician skills, delivering operational performance of a potable water network including leakage and process operation.
