Finance and Control Administrator

The position
Due to the continued growth of our company, we require a Finance and Control Administrator to work within the Finance Team at Van Oord Offshore Wind UK (MPI Offshore) based in Stokesley, Middlesbrough.

Your responsibilities

As a Finance and Control Administrator you will be primarily responsible for all aspects of general finance administration and accounts payable. You will also be involved in monthly and annual accounts preparation.

Job requirements

You will be pro-active, results driven, with a flexible working style that can adapt to a dynamic finance department. An experienced professional with strong communication skills, together with:

The ideal candidate will have

• AAT Level 4 or working equivalent
• Proven experience all aspects of general finance administration & accounts payable
• Track record in the preparation & submissions of VAT returns
• Excel - Intermediate/Advanced
• Appreciation of relevant financial legislation
• Experience in using an ERP system would be an advantage
