MECHANICAL ENGINEER: GRADUATE
JOB PURPOSE:
Working closely with the Senior Engineering Manager, within a team of Mechanical,
Electrical and Project Engineers in the generation of detailed designs of automated investment casting systems and equipment.
Reporting to Senior Manager: Engineering
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Detailed design and development of Automation Systems and Equipment (existing product range).
- Concept and detailed design of new Automation Systems and Equipment.
- Design calculations, including stress analysis, heat transfer etc.
- Creation of technical specifications / documentation for the selection and development of equipment.
- Working to product design standards.
- Working to departmental design procedures.
- Provide internal technical product support.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Demonstrated mechanical design experience.
- Demonstrated CAD Experience 2D and 3D.
- Ability to effectively present design solutions.
- Self disciplined approach to achieve engineering deadlines and objectives.
- Problem solving, both as part of a team and individually.
- Strong written communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- M.Eng / B.Eng Mechanical or Mechatronic degree qualification preferred.
- HNC / HND with additional experience.
