Main Purpose

The 423rd Force Support Squadron provides a whole host of facilities to support the military and civilian population to include, childcare, community center, various food establishments as well as a hotel to accommodate visiting military and civilian personnel.
You will perform a full range of housekeeping duties in assigned areas consisting of guest rooms, corridors, pet friendly rooms, restrooms, etc. You will perform assigned duties which include dusting and polishing all furniture as required. This will include vacuuming floors and/or shampooing carpets, cleaning windows and other living areas. You will empty waste baskets daily, occasionally wash walls, paintwork and blinds as necessary. You will also sweep, dry mop, scrub, wax or polish floors in hallways and rooms. You will clean, disinfect and deodorize lavatories, showers, bath tubs, and related areas. Make beds daily; collect soiled linen and replace, replace hand towels and soap daily. Clean and polish all brass/chrome daily. Reports to supervisors when material and equipment is in need of repair or replacement. Reports conditions requiring maintenance or attention as required.

1. Will be required to work an “as rostered” schedule to include weekends, and/or public holidays.
2. Incumbent will wear prescribed clothing provided at all times while on duty provided by the facility.
3. A high standard of personal cleanliness is required.
4. A pre-employment physical is required.
5. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance.
6. Position may be coded as mission essential (key worker)
