Dog Night Carer

Urban Mutts Dog Club & Hotel is a state of the art facility based with-in Westfield, Shepherds Bush W12, that offers Grooming, Daycare and Boarding.

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and avid dog loving Dog Night Carer to join our growing team of dog professionals.

The job would include:

• Engaging positively with the dogs, supervising and providing mental and physical stimulation for the dogs throughout the night.
• Understanding and monitoring behaviours of all the dogs in the facility. Ensuring that all dogs within the facility are happy and well looked after.
• Engaging with clients when they pick up and drop off their dogs. Providing feedback about how their dog has behaved.
• Liaising with other staff members, leaders and managers to ensure communication is clear and all aspects of the dogs, and the night are understood by all staff.
• Feeding dogs based on information provided by clients and ensuring that medication and amounts are carefully monitored.
• Cleaning and maintaining the indoor facility, social club, outdoor terrace, hotel and equipment

The ideal candidate should:

• Present themselves well and have good, clear communication skills
• Be happy and comfortable around dogs, has good knowledge of breeds and can confidently engage with them
• Be reliable, have good time-keeping skills and have be available to work weekends
• Have previous experience and qualifications in the dog care industry
• Carry themselves positively, and have a problem solving attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: £7.48-£11.05 per hour

Experience:

• Dog Care: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Level 2 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare (preferred)
• Level 3 Award in Canine Care, Behaviour and Welfare (preferred)
