Position Overview & Specifications

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Online Reading List Coordinator to join our Research and Learning Support Team.
You will support the University rollout of Oxford Reading Lists Online (ORLO). You will train staff in the use of ORLO, support staff in the creation of reading lists and digital content, and help ensure that the University of Oxford exploits this resource to its upmost potential.
You will have knowledge of current practice related to reading list creation in the Higher Education environment and have excellent communication and team working skills. You will have the ability to work unsupervised on your own initiative, plan workloads, balance conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.
This is a permanent, full-time role working 36.5 hours per week.
Our staff and students come from all over the world, and we proudly promote a friendly and inclusive culture. Diversity is positively encouraged, through diverse groups and champions, as well as several family-friendly policies, such as the right to apply for flexible working and support for staff returning from periods of extended absence, for example shared parental leave.
Only applications received online before midday (GMT/BST) on Monday 20 February 2023 can be considered. You will be required to upload a supporting statement as part of your online application. Your supporting statement should list each of the essential and desirable selection criteria and explain how you meet each one. CVs will not be considered.
Interviews are expected to take place on Monday 6 March 2023.
