Position Overview & Specifications
Applications are invited for the post of Receptionist. The successful candidate will join the front of house team at the Department of Engineering's site in Trumpington Street.
Playing a key role in providing a professional welcome to all visitors, you will be the first point of contact for telephone and in-person enquiries to the Department. You will also be responsible for carrying out mailroom duties.
The role requires the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of people, both in person and over the telephone, so you will need excellent customer-facing skills, as well as a high level of professionalism and tact. In addition to this, the ability to manage a diverse range of activities, often under pressure, is essential.
