IT Support Technician

Due to expansion, this privately-owned award-winning façade company, specialising in providing building cladding solutions to tier 1 main contractors across the UK, are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Administrator to provide technical help and advice to users.

IT AND SOFTWARE SUPPORT – CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

LOCATION: Based from the Office in Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood, Essex. You may be looking for cloud-based construction software jobs in the Chipping Ongar, Brentwood, Abridge, Epping, Romford, Billericay, Chelmsford, Chigwell, Essex areas. Having your own transport is essential as it is out of town.

SALARY: £25,000 - £30,000 plus benefits, pension, 5 weeks holiday, plenty of free onsite parking, warm and welcoming office environment, full training given.

HOURS: 9.30am – 5.00pm Monday- Friday

As an experienced IT Technical Support Administrator / technical product support specialist or an aspiring IT Software Graduate, you will part of a small, hardworking team, providing business application support.

Your varied role will include:

· Provide technical support via email and phone to the user.

· Demonstrate how to record and maintain information on Field View.

· Set up new accounts and users for the site team.

· Create and manage files and directory structures.

· Take part in training and development sessions.

· Provide advice and guidance on the use of the system.

· Develop and maintain user guides.

· Assist in new software development.

You will be an experienced IT Software Support Engineer/ Software Engineering Graduate, with a good understanding of how to utilise software applications for documentation management / project management systems as well as a strong interest in software technology environments including storage, database, data warehousing, data integration, data analytics, and security.

You will be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook, and have a good knowledge of remote access applications / cloud-based field construction document management software such as Field View/ Deltek PIM.

You will be a team player, with good communication skills, able to use your own initiative, and work well within a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail, as well as your down-to-earth, positive ‘can-do’ attitude, will contribute towards a fun and rewarding career.
