CORE OVERVIEW/PREREQUISITES
GAMING EXPERIENCE/ ANALYTICAL/ CLEAR COMMUNICATOR / TECHNICAL CAPABILITY / FAST LEARNER / ACTIVELY INTERESTED IN CONSUMER ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS.

Summary: The New Product Category (NPC) Team is a strategic team that has been created to research and deliver new market expansion opportunities in the field of gaming. The ideal candidate will be a technically savvy gamer and/or have a keen interest in consumer electronics. The role will involve testing and reporting on new product development initiatives and working with the development team to enhance and improve product launch readiness.

Duties and Responsibilies

  • Provide testing and action-oriented feedback on products that are designed for Console, PC, VR, and other consumer platforms
  • Games compatibility testing of peripherals across many platforms
  • Alpha/Beta and candidate release testing of Hardware and Software to highlight and report bugs and wider product issues to the development team.
  • Wider involvement in conceptual new product development activities and brainstorming.
  • Basic understanding of test requirements and the ability to generate test plans and reports based on product typology.
  • Work closely with development teams and technical support to ensure product compatibility & quality.
  • Team player, fast learner, and willing to develop as the organization expands.
  • Must have excellent oral, written, and multi-cultural communication skills.
  • Capacity to interface with all departments and levels within the company as well as (domestic and international)
  • Travel as needed to other global locations to ensure products are a commercial success (including Turtle Beach offices, key shows and events, manufacturers, and license & technology partners).

Education/Experience/Skills

  • Graduate of High School or Higher Education (A-Level. B-Tech, HND/HNC level or equivalent qualification)
  • Some workplace experience would be beneficial.
  • Good analytical capability: the use of data to improve product quality
  • Detailed understanding of console, PC & generic gaming platforms.
  • Clear and confident communicator.
  • Basic Microsoft program skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Keen interest in gaming and/or other technologically driven consumer markets would be an advantage
