About us:

Saica is one of the leading European players in the development and production of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard with a production of 2.5 million tons of paper.

The Company has recently built on its’ success in the paper and corrugated market and diversified into the development and production on Flexible packaging.

With more than 9,000 employees across Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, UK, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and The Netherlands, Saica Group has four business divisions: recycled paper production for corrugated cardboard (PAPER), recyclable materials recovery (NATUR), production of corrugated packaging (PACK) and flexible packaging (FLEX).

The consolidated turnover of the multinational group is over 3.5 billion Euros.

We are now recruiting for an HR Administrator to Work with the Regional HR Manager to provide legally compliant people processes that support the Company strategy and meet organisational requirements to deliver sustainable profitable growth and create an environment to ensure Saica can attract, develop and retain colleagues.

HR Administrator – Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all operational and transactional HR activities are covered, including weekly and monthly reporting (time registration, holidays, absence and overtime reporting).
  • Input, throughput and control of changes for payroll for the site.
  • Development, monitoring and maintenance of personnel files, employee contracts and job descriptions according to agreed company standards.
  • Monitor and control of absence for plants including occupational health referals, liason with the plant management team and ensuring that absence and timekeeping policies are adhered to by the management team plus the production of weekly and monthly absence graphs for display at the site.
  • Support and advice for management and staff in relation to company policies and procedures.
  • Carry out formal structured inductions for all new employees as required.
  • Organisation, co-ordination and management of training systems ensuring that the skills matrix is kept up to date.
  • Ensure all mandatory H&S training is being completed in a timely manner, plus reporting to group as and when required.
  • Raising purchase requisitions and processing of relevant invoices for services provided to the HR Department
  • Ensure that working time is monitored and reported on weekly to the management team for the site.
  • Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.
