Job Particulars

• 20.34 Hours Per Week
• Set shifts on a standard rota
• Tuesday Morning 6 am - 10 am
• Wednesday Morning 6.15 am - 12.25 pm
• Saturday Morning 6.30 am - 10.30 am
• Sunday Morning 6.15 am - 12.25 pm (this shift is at our Gilberdyke site 3 miles away)

Your Role and a Little About Us...

We are passionate about great customer service and providing a great customer experience. We strive to give enthusiastic, efficient and friendly service at all times to both new and regular customers. You will be working within our Triangle North Cave & Meteor petrol forecourts and you will be required to undertake general stocking and cleaning duties, and other ad hoc jobs as requested by your manager. Your role will also include the safe sale of fuel and other age restricted products, as well as other shop goods.

You will always be required to work to our health and safety standards, following all company policies

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Greeting customers as they enter the store, creating strong relationships with new and regular customers.
• Serving customers on the till
• Accepting deliveries, stock management, stock merchandising and date checking.
• Awareness of the security of the shop, keeping an eye out for shoplifters.
• Reporting to your site manager.
• Flexibility to providing support and cover for holidays and sickness when required.
• Serving fuel and goods to customers, with main role and responsibility being the health and safety of the forecourt.
• Using your own initiative to problem solve issues that may arise throughout your shift and contacting the correct on call member of staff with any emergencies.

Requirements for the Role:

• Previous experience within a retail environment preferable but not required as full training will be provided.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a strong ability to work well as both part of a team or individually in a high paced work environment.
• Flexibility to help cover holidays and sickness is a strong requirement.
• Ability to follow direction as well as using your own initiative and problem solving skills.
• Physically able to lift & stand for the length of your shift.
• Professional, friendly and approachable manner.
• Due to the nature of this role, you must be over 18

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20.34 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
