Salary: 10 – £10.50 per hour plus shift premiums.

Trewithen Dairy is proud to be 100% Cornish and has a world class facility with modern bright offices in the Cornish countryside 30 miles from Plymouth and Truro. We have ambitious growth plans, and our people are our key ingredient.

Our hero products are bottled fresh milk and Cornish clotted cream, as well as butter churned with Cornish cream and yoghurt made with Cornish milk. We operate a chilled delivery fleet servicing independent retailers and food service customers throughout the South West and beyond.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our production team in Lostwithiel. You will be instrumental in the process of creating our quality products.

The shift follows a rolling 4 on 4 off pattern and we are currently looking for people to join our day team (6:00am – 6:00pm) and our night team (6:00pm – 6:00am).

Summary of tasks for this role:

• Ensuring our bottled milk is expertly packed and handed over to our despatch team.
• Embracing & maintaining Health & Safety culture.
• Quality Assurance procedures and practices.
• Producing product in a timely and efficient manner.
• Operating and working on machinery (operating/cleaning/sanitizing).
• Any other duties as reasonably required.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will be happy working in a fast-paced production environment and have a ‘can-do’ approach.

Training will be provided as appropriate, although if you have worked in a fast paced industry such as food manufacturing before, that would be an advantage. There will be opportunities for training and further development.
