Production Operative

We are looking for Production Operatives to assist with the production of concrete railway sleepers.

The role involves working on 4 long production lines to continuously cast and demould concrete railway sleepers, whilst also cleaning after the process on a regular basis. Both automated and semi-automated machinery is used in this process, but it does require manual handling and is physically demanding work.

No experience is needed as training will be given.

The role will work a rotating shift of

• Days - Monday - Thursday 6am - 5pm
• Nights - Monday - Friday 5pm - 3am - or - 8pm - 6am (team dependent)

The role is also eligible for a production bonus which is paid for each hour worked and averages at £1.80 per hour

As part of our recruitment process all new starters are required to undertake a drugs and alcohol test, as well as random testing during employment
