Packaging Operator

Would you like to be part of a team producing life saving medicine? Torbay Pharmaceuticals (TP) are looking for an Operator within the Packaging Team, this is a full time permanent position.

If you are successful you’ll become part of a 30 strong team who really make a difference world wide.

You will be required to work shifts - Early/Late weekly rotation - Monday to Friday

Early: 06:30 – 14:45

Late: 11:45 – 20:00

Main duties of the job

As part of the packaging team you will be processing pharmaceutical products within a manufacturing facility in Paignton within a controlled environment in order to achieve the production schedule. This involves inspection, labelling, packing and serialising of products in compliance with all manufacturing SOP’s, Batch Records, H&S requirements and cGMP.

The primary purpose of the Packaging Operator is to be part of a team processing, inspecting, labelling, packing, sterialising and storing pharmaceutical products in compliance with all manufacturing SOP’s, Batch packaging records, in line with H&S requirements and following Pharmaceutical GMP.

Qualifications
Essential criteria

• Good general education (minimum GCSE C in English, Maths & Science)

Desirable criteria

• Basic IT training

Knowledge

• Moving & Handling knowledge

Desirable criteria

• An understanding of the regulatory standards relates to manufacturing (GMP)
• Previous production line experience

Skills
Essential criteria

• Able to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions and perform basic calculations
