Tops Days Nursery in Gillingham is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our team, working on a part-time capacity.

Duties:
- Assist the Nursery Cook to provide enjoyable meals for children.
- Work with the Nursery Cook to ensure food is purchased in good time and within budget.
- Provide a safe environment within the kitchen.
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy (cupboards kept clean, fridge/freezer defrosted regularly, oven cleaned regularly)
- Ensure meals are served appropriately and ready on time.
- Involve yourself as a leading team member of food hygiene team, to ensure that all aspects of food hygiene law adhered to.
- To be committed to the safeguarding of all children in the nursery.
Minimum requirement:
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Previous cooking experience
- A clear and valid DBS
