Position Overview & Specifications
We are specialists in box sash windows, bespoke joinery, bespoke window and doors, wooden skirting boards and also staircases.
Tasks may involve, but are not limited to:
- Installing first fix components (door frames, window boards, linings)
- Installing second fix components (doors, skirting/architraves, kitchens, cladding)
- Use of hand tools, portable power tools, and equipment
This will be a 4 day week job with 1 day release at Chelmsford College
Business operating hours:
Mon-Fri: 08:00-17:00 & Saturday 08:00-12:00
GCSEs grade 4/C wanted in Maths and English - any other applicants will be considered on a case by case
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary: From £5.28 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Leytonstone: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
