Bar Staff

The Yard Coventry is an award-winning LGBTQ+ bar, nightclub, and community venue in the heart of Coventry, and has an exciting opportunity for new part-time Bar Staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving a range of drinks in a fast-paced and lively environment
• Using a till to take orders and process payments
• Checking customers' identification and age verification
• Engaging positively with customers and advising on our drink range
• Maintaining a clean and organised bar area, including quickly responding to spills and other health and safety hazards
• Monitoring and replenishing stock levels as needed

Previous bar experience and passion for providing excellent customer service are essential for this role. It is also important that candidates are able to support The Yard's commitment to creating a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community.

Hours are available on a part-time basis, with shift availability including evenings and weekends, particularly Friday and Saturday nights.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: Up to £10.42 per hour

Schedule:

• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
