Position Overview & Specifications

As a Project Manager, you will work alongside our operations and HR team to assist with the general day-to-day running of the festival team. You will be assigned various festivals/gigs to focus on throughout the season. The work in the build-up to the event will be focused on recruiting and selecting the best teams available, liaising with the client to gather all the information required, and then being on-site at the event to ensure full attendance and to be on hand if any issues were to arise during the running of the event.

Whilst on-site you’ll have a support network in the office to aid you in any way needed. The role on-site can vary from being on-hand to support the client with minor staff issues to actually working alongside the staff, building up an idea of who is who in our team and their various qualities.

This is a great opportunity to learn about different aspects of both our business and our clients and to access some great events. The key duties of the Project Manager will include, but not be restricted to:

Day-to-day

  • Selecting teams and updating information on event.
  • Sending reminders to staff to ensure attendance.
  • Speaking with staff to gauge skills and interest.
  • Onboarding of new staff.
  • Logistics.
  • On-site management.
  • Travelling to and from events.

On-site Management
  • Role can vary between working alongside staff and more of an overseeing/client-supporting role.
  • There will be travel involved for a lot of the venues, which will be reimbursed.
  • There may be occasions where you will need to stay overnight and sometimes camp on-site.

Marketing
  • Advertise roles both internally and externally to find the best staff available for each role.
  • Internal Marketing: Using our in-house app and Social Media to drive demand for roles.
  • External Marketing: Using Social Media, job adverts, and email marketing to aid recruitment for the roles.

Administration
  • Filing employee documentation.
  • Onboarding & Right to Work checks with new employees.
  • Sending full information packs to staff pre-event.
  • Compiling reports post-event, collating timesheets and recording performance.

Requirements

As a small team we are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, professional and friendly manner who is willing to get stuck in and support across different areas of the business.

You will be a hard-working, customer-focused individual who will enjoy working in a busy but fun team.

Please note that this is a fixed term role through to 30/09/23.
