Are you an experienced IT procurement professional with a passion for delivering strategic supplier agreements and driving cost efficiencies without compromising service or quality? We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team and take ownership of the tactical IT procurement program, as well as supporting in key strategic projects.

You’ll have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere within the UK, however supplier meetings and head office working will be required roughly once a fortnight.

What you'll be doing in the role:

  • Lead end-to-end contract management processes, from engagement to sign-off.
  • Take responsibility for IT procurement processes and onboarding of IT suppliers.
  • Lead Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and tender processes for IT services.
  • Ensure supplier performance management and service delivery meet expectations.
  • Design, implement, and maintain supplier scorecards to monitor performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and monitor performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Source products and implement supply chain opportunities for IT hardware.
  • Utilise trend and market analysis to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, legal, the IT Leadership team, and stakeholders to build strong relationships.

Who we’re looking for:

It’s not the number of years of experience that’s important here, the focus is on attitude and application. You’ll have plenty of opportunity, support, and guidance to grow further in this role too.

We do look that you have the following experience to apply :

  • Procurement experience within IT functions: infrastructure, security, software, and/or service delivery.
  • Some demonstrable experience in contract management and IT procurement/category management.
  • Proven success in implementing and managing procurement projects using industry-level methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and process-driven.
  • Ability to work independently and lead working teams through the procurement process.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.

On offer is a basic salary of up to £40,000, bonus of up to 20%, private medical and dental and a 'tasty' employee discount.
