Make a difference to a child everyday!

We need enthusiastic, caring, resilient and fun people to come and work with our children and young people with SEN. Hours of work, 8.45am-3.45pm. Weekly Staff Training on a Tuesday until 4.30pm is included.

Parkside is an Outstanding Special School in the Golden Triangle part of Norwich.

We have pupils aged from 7years old to 16 years old and a one year post 16 provision to support young people with independence.

Parkside is a friendly school with a family feel to it.

Parkside likes to have fun and support our pupils to live life fully through supporting their learning in communication, self-regulation and independence.

We have a well established career progression route for TAs and successful TA to Apprentice Teacher route for Teacher Training.

The successful candidate will:

  • Care about providing the best opportunities for children with SEN
  • Be calm and patient, especially when a child is showing dysregulated behaviour.
  • have the highest expectations of children and support them to achieve these
  • be a team player, think on their feet and show initiative
  • understand the importance of safeguarding in all aspects of school life
  • Be able to physically support pupils when needed (with appropriate training provided).
