Bartender

The Kings Hotel Brighton are currently looking for a Food and Beverage Assistant to join the business, this person will work mainly in the Bar delivering exceptional Service and making excellent drinks. The Role

• Meeting guests in a polite and friendly manner and standing at the door to ensure guests are promptly seated, creating a warm and welcoming environment
• Ensure a smooth running of the Bar
• Ensure that all guests’ requests and queries are responded to promptly and effectively and an exceptional service is always delivered to guests
• Ensure an efficient and safe delivery of all food and beverage orders in line with guest expectations ensuring an exceptional level of service is always maintained.
• Familiarise yourself with the menu and as much information about the food and beverage offering available in order to answer any questions guests may have
• Ensure that all front of house and guest areas are always well maintained
• Ensure you display a presentable appearance and performances are at a high standard
• Ensure the restaurant areas are always clean and well-presented and assist with cleaning and housekeeping duties as required
• To be fully aware of the Hotel’s Fire Safety procedures, Health and Safety regulations and Allergens.
• Supporting other departments as and when required (such as kitchen)
• Take food and beverage orders and ensure that orders are communicated to the kitchen promptly and accurately
• Set up, clear and promptly service tables after use to ensure that guests can be seated in a timely manner
• Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times and ensure that any guest complaints and comments are reported to management
• Prepare all back of house service points according to expected numbers for breakfast and dinner requirements as necessary
• Support the kitchen staff as and when required and in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations
