Office / Studio Assistant
Here at The Fix we are currently seeking a Studio Assistant to be our in-the-office support for our near 70 people who mix time between office and home. Reporting into our Operations & HR Director, the successful candidate will get involved in multiple areas of business support. This will suit a ‘people person’ who wants to work in an agency environment three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Ensure our office provides a comfortable and attractive working environment
- Handle incoming calls and meeting rooms, stationery/ food shopping
- Make purchases for the office and for home working
- Liaise with our landlord to manage repairs or discuss maintenance issues
- Provide low level prepping of laptops and couriering to/ from people’s homes/ liaison with our IT support team
- Help manage office and IT admin
- Help promote our Green and charitable initiatives
- Keep our plants alive!
- Reconcile our primary company credit card, gathering receipts etc
- Set up and run our fortnightly company sharing session
- Ensure timesheets are completed and help generate project updates/ reports
- Help set up interviews for new candidates
- Help organise various social activities throughout the year
- Provide occasional support to the wider team. For example, low level research, uploading content to websites or helping run our daily resourcing stand ups
What we would like you to bring
- First and foremost a fantastic ‘hands on’ attitude - someone who sees the value in everything they do
- You should be a natural multi-tasker
- A minimum of 1-2 years office experience, preferably in an agency environment
- Excellent verbal AND written communication skills
- And excellent attention to detail
