Hotel Receptionist

The Bridge Hotel & spa is located in a tranquil country setting in the heart of Yorkshire, yet it is only five minutes’ drive from the A1 and the motorway network and near to Wetherby race course.

The Bridge Hotel & Spa is a unique venue which has recently undergone a refurbishment programme with 37 bedrooms, wonderful conference & banqueting facilities and a very successful non-residential restaurant trade as well as a newly opened spa. Ideally placed in Wetherby we are located close to the historic city of York, the spa town of Harrogate and the commercial centre of Leeds.

We require an enthusiastic and motivated person to join our dedicated & friendly team at this highly regarded 4 star hotel and spa.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time receptionist to join our highly successful team. Based in modern and contemporary surroundings you will be required to contribute to the hotels success. You should have a warm, personable nature, can do attitude and eye for details.

Your role will be on our front desk being a part of our guests arrival and departure experience. Basic IT knowledge is an advantage for adapting well into this role. In addition, you will recieve full training on our reservations systems and learn how to manage both residential and spa bookings.

In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed.

This role is shift based and includes weekends.

Typical shift patterns include early shifts (7am - 3pm) and late shifts (3pm -10pm).

The successful candidate will receive full training, and continue to develop their skills in assisting in the administration of hotel & spa reservations including guest communications.
