Bar/Waiting Staff

Bar/Restaurant staff required for shift work at a venue in the centre of Pontypridd. Experience not necessary but preferred.

Duties include:-

Greeting and communicating with customers in a polite and friendly manner

Serving food and beverages and offering advice on products

Handling reservations

Seating guests at tables/ Assisting with seating arrangements

Ensuring all bar and restaurant areas are clean and tidy

Delivering food and beverages to customers at tables

Dealing with bill payments

Clearing plates and glasses from tables

Washing and polishing glasses

Operating the till and cash handling

Preparing the bar and restaurant for service: filling condiments/laying tables/polishing cutlery etc

Closing down the bar and restaurant: Restocking fridges/ general cleaning of the bar and restaurant area.

Serving customers breakfast.

Checking guests in and out of the hotel.

All candidates must be 18 or over with a good level of physical fitness as this job involves working on your feet for the entirety of the shifts.

Evenings, weekends and mornings.

National minimum wage paid on a weekly basis

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 12-16 per week

Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
