Van Driver & Furniture Remover
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
We are looking for a Van Driver & Furniture Remover to support our Retail Department with collection and delivery of goods around the Teesside area. The role is full-time working Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm meaning no unsociable hours.
Teesside Hospice currently has 13 charity shops from Skelton to Stokesley, Middlesbrough and Thornaby and many key locations in between.
We are looking for a Van Driver & Furniture Remover to assist with the efficient collection of donated goods, including items of furniture and the distribution of goods and furniture to our customers as well as between our Teesside Hospice shops.
You will need to have a clean driving licence and be able to drive company vehicles, including a 3.5 tonne Luton box van with a tail lift. You will also need to be able to manoeuvre, lift and carry goods, heavy furniture and white goods to and from vehicles, in and out of buildings and up and down stairs on a daily basis.
To succeed in this role, a positive outlook and can do attitude is essential, along with great communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
