We’re looking for a Junior UI/UX Designer to join our Design Team!

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an ambitious and self-driven Junior UI/UX designer to join our rapidly growing team. We’re currently a team of 12 designers who specialise in UX and/or UI, working on multiple exciting projects. Our HQ is in Shoreditch, where we expect this Designer to be based 2-3 times per week.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the UI outputs, creating pixel perfect screens utilising design system components where possible, creating new patterns where required.
• Create design specification documents and contribute to the project design system and are comfortable to present designs and their rationale within the team.
• Have experience in understanding how to design products based on product requirements, user flow, and other UX requirements.
• Partner with other designers and product owner to solve for design problems leveraging an agile way of working

What will you bring to Tech Alchemy?

• Have experience working within Agile team and assist other designers to deliver designs across different digital platforms, (app, website, dashboard, etc.)
• Understand the principles of UX
• Have strong knowledge of UI pattern and create design system
• Strong communication both verbal and written
• Strong skills in design software, especially Figma (design and prototype)
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant design field or equivalent practical experience

Bonus if you are:

• Interested in creating beautiful transitions and animations to make the experience magical.
• Interested in tech and finance industry
• Have experience in webflow, lottie file and after effects.
• Interested in creating dashboard design

Only applicants with a portfolio/personal website to be considered. Ideally, it will be a personal website with 3-4 projects, but other formats are fine as well.
