Company Overview:

Tape Notes is an award winning podcast on the art and craft of music production hosted by the legendary John Kennedy. In each episode John Kennedy (Radio X) reunites an artist and producer and talks through 3 tracks from an album they’ve recorded together, using demos, early versions and stems to chart the creative journey from idea to finished product.

Overview of Role & Responsibilities:

We are currently recruiting for the role of Videographer/Content Creator. We’re looking for someone with great videography & editing skills to create high quality video content, helping build engaged audiences across YouTube and social media.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creator

● Film episodes using a multi-camera setup.
● Create full length video edits of each episode for Patreon.
● Create 5-10 minute edited highlights of each episode for YT.
● Upload and tag all content to YT.
● Create eye-catching thumbnails and titling for YT excerpts.
● Produce unique/creative shorts excerpts to promote Tape Notes on Tik Tok, Reels & YT

Shorts.
● Upload and tag all short excerpts to Tik Tok, Reels & Shorts.
● Take photographs of recording sessions for social media etc.
● Develop strategies for growing YT channel and driving revenue through YT Ad Sense.
● Keep track of analytics and report performance of videos.
● Pitch and develop new video content ideas for YT, Tik Tok, Reels & YT Shorts.

Person Specification - Essential:

● Excellent editing and content selection skills.
● Proficient in Adobe Premiere &/or Final Cut or DaVinci Resolve.
● Proficient in After Effects.
● Experience filming using a multi-camera setup.
● Photography experience.
● Proficient in Photoshop.

● Excellent IT Skills .
● Passionate about music and music production.
● Good understanding of the YouTube platform and what the latest best practices are for delivering engaging content.
● Good understanding of short-form video content (Reels & Tik Tok), know what the latest best practices are for each platform.
● Demonstrate original, creative work.
● Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
● Flexible approach to work.
● Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met.
● The ability to work well under pressure.
● Maintains and projects a positive attitude towards routine tasks.
● Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
● Excellent at problem solving and adapting to challenges met.

Person Specification - Desirable:

● Experience using social media professionally.
● Experience in audio editing/mixing.
● Familiarity with music software/DAW.
● Owns video recording equipment.
