Hours 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday- Friday. There will be event hours the only one that is booked is the Bank Holiday 27th,28th and 29th and they do have to work them. They will get paid double time for that event.

Swanstaff are looking for a Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to work for a rapidly expanding family business with a flair for designing and selecting garden accessory and landscaping goods.

Job Description

• Oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a range of goods form Heavy Stone artisan Goods, Flooring materials, Flooring accessories and Light weight garden Gift items.
• To ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity targets are met.
• Determining product handling and storage requirements.
• Developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Consistently developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Receiving, packing away and storing of overseas’ s containers for Europe, Far east and Asia.
• Receiving, packing away and storing of UK supplier goods.
• Manging receiving, storage and waiting areas for distribution of goods.
• Order scheduling packing and picking of all Foras and accessory goods.
• Monitoring stock levels and acracy
• Stock Takes
• Managing and Implementing replacement stock for the show gardens.
• Managing and implementing maintenance schedules for both showrooms and Gardens (Stowbridge and Burnham Market)
• Scheduling and Management of deliveries.
• Verifying the contents of received packages and goods.
• Delivering on Directors highlighted KPI’S.
• Monitoring and Ordering of general supplies.
• Cleaning and Maintaining work areas and warehouse.
• Occasional customer deliveries
• Effective record keeping of unperfect Pick and returns.
• Implementation and Maintenance of any Stock/ Distribution software.
• Management of Hauliers in and out of the warehouse and their costs.
