The Senior Early Years Worker (SEYW) will join the Early Years Early Help (EYEH) Team and provide direct line management support to the Early Years Early Help Workers to support families to build and enhance skills that will better enable them to help their child to meet their developmental milestones.
The SEYW will have a senior role within the EYEH Team, providing support for the EYEH Manager. This support will include having the delegated responsibility to allocate cases and sign off key documents such as assessments, plans and Wellcomms. The SEYW will also supervise a number of Early Years Workers.
The SEYW will be required to lead on practice, attend panels and service performance reviews when required. It will carry a small caseload where required and will include taking a mentoring role in the induction process of new staff and co-working on complex cases.
