Position Overview & Specifications

  • £30,151 per annum (pro rata)
  • 37 hours per week
  • Fixed Term / Secondment until April 2024

A great opportunity has arisen for you to join Suffolk County Council, working in Children and Young Peoples Services as a Business Intelligence Officer working from Endeavour House, Ipswich.

Your role and responsibilities

You will:

  • Input into system design and system use within SystmOne units across Children and Young People (CYP) Health teams.
  • Develop Service level reporting and provide analysis that supports decision-making and planning.
  • Work as part of the Children and Young People’s Intelligence Hub, which specialise in data and intelligence across Children and Young Peoples Services.
  • Receive peer support from other intelligence analysts, system experts and system trainers within the team.

What you will need

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using SystmOne.
  • Analytical skills for interpreting qualitative and quantitative information.

The team

The team’s main source of data is the Health Management System, SystmOne. This is an integrated health record and is used by services across CYP Health for record-keeping and reporting.

You will be part of a small team that maintains and develops case recording systems, delivers system training and provides data and intelligence to colleagues across CYP Health Services.
