LGV Trainee Driver

SUEZ Recycling & Recovery UK will be commencing the Milton Keynes Municipal collection contract in September 2023 adding additional routes and collection rounds and as such we are looking to increase the pool of LGV Drivers by offering fully paid for LGV Training.

We will have a completely new fleet of Vehicles for the commencement of this contract.

About the Role

You will be expected to already hold a valid UK manual drivers licence in order to undertake the training, you must also have no more than six points on your licence.

Whilst you are undertaking your training with our external partner you will undertake your medical, theory and practical training over a period of 4-6 weeks. Upon successful attainment of your LGV license you will have the opportunity to undertake further training and induction on our new fleet of vehicles prior to the contract going live on the 4th of September.

What will I be doing once I have my license?

The role will involve driving vehicles collecting municipal recycling and waste from households, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and contractual requirements at all times.

Once fully trained as an LGV Driver you will be driving our LGV vehicles as a key member of our team.

After the contract goes live you will be working:

• Hours: 06.45 – 16:45 (inc 1 hour for lunch) Monday – Friday
• 45 Hours per week
• Full Time - Permanent
• £15.70 per hour
• Salary: £36,738
• Full PPE Provided
• Full LGV Training provided.
